Thanksgiving food

If you and your family are celebrating Thanksgiving in Kansas City this year, you can do more than just eat turkey and cranberry sauce. There are plenty of engaging activities that the whole family can enjoy throughout the month as well as during Thanksgiving weekend.

·         Thanksgiving Concert for Human Need. November 17th at 7:30pm. Visit the Countryside Christian Church in Mission, Kansas where the William Baker Festival Singers will present a concert. Admission will be free; however, donations are accepted for a charity donation.

·         Thanksgiving Day Run. November 23rd at 8:30am. If you want to burn off some extra calories before you stuff your face on T-day, sign up for this race. Every participant also receives a long-sleeved thermal shirt and a pumpkin pie.

·         Howl at the Moon. November 22nd. Howl at the Moon is hosting its annual Thanksgiving Eve celebration. If you want to have some fun before you have to spend the day talking to your crazy uncle, reserve yourself a special spot at this party.

·         Christmas in Lecompton. Through January 1st. Start the Christmas season with a trip to the Territorial Capital Museum in Lecompton. It will feature an exhibit of 120 festively-decorated Christmas trees.

Here at Lang Chevrolet Buick GMC, we wish you a happy and fun Thanksgiving.
