The 2018 model year is right around the corner and is packed with great new things. Exterior and interior updates for the 2018 Silverado will make it even more versatile and desirable.

Outside, buyers will have the option of two new exterior colors: Cajun Red Tintcoat and Havana Metallic. Two colors from 2017 have been discontinued: Siren Red Tintcoat and Pepperdust Metallic. Other exterior modifications include new Z71 and 4×4 decals for the side of the bed.

Here are the updates for the 2018 SilveradoMost of the 2018 updates are found inside. The base Silverado model gains a multitude of new standard features. There will be a standard six-speaker sound system, which replaces the current four-speaker system. For maximum connectivity, the Silverado will also get a standard Chevrolet MyLink system with a seven-inch color touchscreen equipped with Bluetooth® streaming capacity. Passengers can keep their gadgets charged with a built-in 110-volt power outlet, a new free-standing option available on the 1LS trim.

For added protection, the Rear Vision Camera will help drivers back up more safely. The Tire Fill Alert will notify the vehicle owner when tire pressure is running low. Both features will come standard across the Silverado lineup.
