The 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE set a new Camaro record lap time of 7:16.04 at the Nurburgring, besting the Camaro ZL1 by 13 seconds. This puts the new Chevy Camaro ZL1 1LE in 14th place on the Nürburgring Top 100 Leaderboard.

The Nürburgring, located in Nürburg, Germany, is a 12.9-mile track with over 1,000 feet of elevation change and dozens of turns and curves, prompting legendary racer Jackie Stewart to nickname it “The Green Hell.” Originally built in 1925, the Nürburgring was completely rebuilt starting in 1982, becoming one of Europe’s most challenging — and most deadly — tracks by 1984.
