New Silverado 1500 Features
There are a range of new 2017 Silverado 1500 features. This seventh-generation model comes with added paint colors, new technologies and more. The Silverado is designed to be a workhorse, offering unparalleled capabilities and the latest systems on the market. Not only is it comfortable to drive, but it is also made to be versatile.

According to Car and Driver, the new Silverado 1500 comes with two new paint colors: Jet Black and Medium Ash Gray, as well as an interior combo in the High Country. However, most of the changes on the 2017 model year include a standard rearview camera on the LT models, smartphone connectivity, and a standard Teen Driver system to help you monitor beginner driving habits.

“The 1500 has a newfound element of masculinity. The slimmer headlights and slotted LED running lights of 2016’s frontal restyling gave the Silverado’s rectangular face flair while maintaining the macho face expected of pickups,” said the reviewers at Car and Driver. “The sides display muscle with linked, angular wheel arches that could have been inspired by Dig Dug. It certainly looks the part of a proper truck.”

The new High Country trim level, which is top of the line, comes with heated leather seating, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power-adjustable pedals, and new tech upgrades. You’ll also find Enhanced Driver Alert, with Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keeping Assist, Automated Emergency Braking, Auto High Beams, and more.
