The 2017 Chevrolet Cruze is a favorite in the compact market for its high fuel economy, speedy turbocharged performance, and now the exciting addition of a hatchback style to the sedan. The Cruze’s attractive styling, quiet ride, and comfortable cabin leave drivers impressed, and its range of technology at a low price point makes it an appealing choice even if you aren’t on a budget.

With a standard 4G LTE WiFi hotspot along with technologies like MyLink, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and SiriusXM, along with plenty of other options. The Cruze hatchback adds a practical compact option to the Chevy lineup, with more cargo space and fold-down rear seats that allow for as much room as a CUV without sacrificing its manageable size and easy maneuverability.

The hatchback handles much the same as the Cruze sedan, an agile car with a turbo I-4 engine and great fuel economy, and Chevy made sure the hatchback sounds like the sedan too—despite the noisier hatchback body style, it rides just as quietly as the sedan.

While the Cruze hatchback is largely similar to the sedan in terms of driving experience thanks to their shared engine and transmission options, Chevy has said it plans to add a turbodiesel engine option to the hatchback with the 2018 model.
