2017 GMC Sierra

When it comes to massive engine and hauling power, most people know to look towards some of the top trucks in the automotive industry. General Motors is no stranger to upping the stakes on their vehicles and have upgraded the 2017 GMC Sierra to feature an incredible 910 pound-feet of torque.

The redesigned engine received somewhat of a total makeover with a new fuel system, block and heads, exhaust-gas recirculation system, and an electrically actuated turbocharger which possesses an improved boost pressure. The 445 horsepower 6.6-liter Duramax diesel V8 engine increased total torque by nineteen percent while also promising quieter idle engine noise.

Although fuel efficiency isn’t always a top priority for large engine trucks, the 2017 GMC Sierra is also compatible with B20 biodiesel. Additionally, the new truck comes with some other exciting features outside of the engine, such as HID projector-beam headlamps, available wireless charging, and an available 4G Wi-Fi Hotspot.

We’re excited to have this impressive, powerful truck in the GMC lineup and look forward to seeing any other upgrades in the future. Stop by and see us at Lang Chevy to test drive the all-new 2017 GMC Sierra or any other vehicle you may be interested in.
