What better way to start out the fall season than with a fresh, spacious, and organized vehicle? If you have gone on a terrific road trip with the kids this summer, it’s likely your car seems messier than it ever does during the school year.

Clean the Inside of Your Car

If you wash the exterior of your car, why not clean the inside of your car?

As your kids prepare to go back to school, make sure you start off on the right foot this fall. Here are some tips to help clean the inside of your car:

  • If most of the clutter in your car tends to be trash, be sure to have a big trash bag and a recycling bin handy.
  • Maintain a separate pile for things you will throw away and things that you want to keep, then sort through those piles after you’re done cleaning the car.
  • Enlist the help of your spouse, friends, or children to help you go through the accumulated mass, so that nothing they want to keep gets pitched
  • Though more extreme cleaning materials – or lighter materials for sensitive upholstery – may be necessary, you should be able to conduct a thorough clean with all-purpose wipes, clean towels, and the hose from a vacuum.
