It seems General Motors brand vehicles are everywhere nowadays so it only makes sense that their presence in cinema leaps from the Chevrolet Camaro (Transformers) to the 2016 Chevrolet Volt. From muscle to technology, Disney’s “Tomorrowland” features the second generation Volt.

A mystery film, “Tomorrowland” is about a world where everything is possible. Chevrolet shares this belief and has embedded it inside the new Volt in more ways than one.

“Tomorrowland is a place where nothing is impossible, which is something that Chevrolet believes can exist in the here and now,” said Tim Mahoney, vice president of Global Chevrolet. “The Chevrolet spirit reflects the hopes and possibilities of tomorrow in real instruments of change for today like the next-generation Chevrolet Volt.”

The 2016 Chevrolet Volt is heading into its second generation with a sportier design and new technology. With an improved 50 miles of EV range, Volt owners can expect more than 1,000 miles between fill ups. The electric vehicle also got a boost in its acceleration and features greater efficiency. Keep an eye out for the Volt in Disney’s “Tomorrowland”, in theaters May 22nd!
